The foundation we built
From physiotherapist to health centre
FysioDanmark Brøndby is a clinic offering physiotherapy, chiropractic care and acupuncture. acend handles SEO and the development of their website. This is a case study about positioning rather than numbers. We are sharing it because many businesses are exactly where FysioDanmark was: they have become more than their communications suggest.
3
core services, each with its own landing page

Nyt site
built for its positioning as a health centre
- Dedicated landing pages for all three core services — physiotherapy, chiropractic care and acupuncture.
- Local landing pages for physiotherapy, where search volume is highest.
- A website built for its positioning as a health centre, not the clinic it used to be.
- A clinic that is visible as more than a physiotherapist for the first time.
The problem they came to us with
They had become more than their messaging conveyed
The clinic was marketing a smaller business than the one it actually ran — both to clients and to Google.
The goal was more clients
FysioDanmark Brøndby came to us with a simple wish: more clients through the door and a growing business.
The task turned out to be bigger
The clinic already offered chiropractic care and acupuncture alongside physiotherapy — they simply were not communicating it. To the outside world, they were a physiotherapist, and that was how search engines saw them too.
A classic mismatch
A business evolves faster than its communications, and at some point you end up marketing a smaller business than the one you actually run. The ambition therefore became broader than growth: to move from being a physiotherapist to being a health centre.
The solution
Three equally prominent entry points — then depth where the volume is
Search architecture is positioning
You can call yourself a health centre in all your internal communications. But if your site only contains content about physiotherapy, you are a physiotherapist — both to Google and to someone looking for a chiropractor. That is why the first step was dedicated landing pages for each of the three core services. Not as subsections of physiotherapy, but as equally prominent entry points.
Breadth first, then depth
Once the three services stood on their own, we went deeper where there was most to gain: local landing pages for physiotherapy, which receives significantly more searches. The order was deliberate — had we explored physiotherapy in depth first, we would have reinforced the position the clinic was moving away from.
The website
The final step is a completely new website, with the health centre positioning built into its structure from the ground up rather than added on top. The rebrand is therefore not a new logo on an old business, but a site organised around what the clinic actually offers.
The partnership
Regular reporting and ongoing strategic input
Regular reporting and strategic input
A regular follow-up schedule, combined with room for tasks that come up along the way.
From SEO to rebranding
The partnership began with search optimisation and grew to include positioning and a new website — because the search work revealed that this was what the business needed.
No long-term commitments
The partnership has to make sense month after month.
