monthly organic visitors
400 kr
per relevant timber decking enquiry
- From 5 to 130 monthly organic visitors.
- Relevant timber decking enquiries at 400 kroner each.
- Visibility that matches the craftsmanship — where previously there was almost none.
In a business where a single deck is a substantial project, volume is not what makes or breaks the year — what matters is whether the right people find you.
The problem
An address nobody visited
TerrasseNu had the craftsmanship, the workshop and the portfolio. They just had no digital presence worth mentioning.
The market does not make things any easier — and the season leaves only a few months each year when demand is actually there.
The craftsmanship was there — the presence was not
TerrasseNu had the craftsmanship, the workshop and the portfolio. They just had no digital presence worth mentioning. Five visitors a month is not a website — it is an address nobody visits.
DIY content dominates the search results
Timber decking is a field where DIY stores, material suppliers and do-it-yourself guides dominate search results, and where searches from people who actually want a deck built get lost in all the content about doing it yourself.
The season is short
A deck is ordered in spring and built in summer. Demand is concentrated in a few months, and if you are not visible during that window, the year is lost.
The solution
Narrow rather than broad — with SEO supporting advertising
In a market with limited search volume, the temptation is to cast a wide net. We did the opposite.
Advertising focuses exclusively on local searches for decking and carpenters for decking. Not pergolas, not raised beds, not broader searches for tradespeople. These are the searches where someone has a specific project in mind, with a real job at the other end.
It is a disciplined way to use a budget, and it is what makes the cost of 400 kroner per enquiry possible. Had we spread our efforts across the entire range, we would have generated more clicks and fewer jobs.

Decking + local
This is where the case differs from the typical approach. Rather than running SEO as a separate discipline alongside advertising, we focused a large part of our SEO work on improving the exact landing pages the ads send traffic to.
Better, more relevant pages raise the Quality Score in Google Ads, and a higher Quality Score means lower costs per click for the same position. At the same time, the pages convert more visitors into enquiries.
On top of that, we worked on local SEO for searches with existing volume in TerrasseNu's area — so those same pages also bring in traffic without a cost per click attached to every visit.

130 visitors a month may not sound like much. But in a business where a single deck is a substantial project, volume is not what makes or breaks the year — what matters is whether the right people find you. A handful of projects can fill a season.
A handful of projects can fill a season.
You pay less per click and get more enquiries from the clicks you pay for. That double effect is what makes 400 kroner possible in a field where costs per click are far from low.
And because the same pages also bring in organic traffic, some visitors arrive without a cost per click attached to each visit.
