The goal has been achieved: today, ViFlytter is firmly on customers' shortlists when they need to move within or to Southern Jutland.
The problem
They were there — but weren't being found
ViFlytter had the team and the coverage, but lacked the visibility needed to fill the order book. This is a particular challenge in the removals industry, where the buying window is short and the customer is often somewhere entirely different from where the move takes place.
Not enough online enquiries
ViFlytter was a relatively new business with a skilled team and a large service area — but their online presence was not generating enough enquiries. They were there, but they were not being found.
The moving industry's short window
People rarely move, and when they do, they search for a short period and choose from the first companies they find. If you are not visible in that exact window, you do not exist.
The customer is not necessarily where the move is taking place
Someone searching for a removals company in Sønderborg is just as likely to be in Copenhagen, planning to move back home. Treating that search as a local search means missing out on a large part of the market.
The solution
Geography in the right place — in the keyword or in the settings
For a local service business, the difference between an expensive and an inexpensive enquiry often comes down to where geography is applied. ViFlytter's Google Ads account is built around this distinction, and the SEO work has created local pages and local links that demonstrate the business belongs in the area.
Google Ads: the town in the keyword, not in the settings
The account is structured around three campaigns. The brand campaign covers ViFlytter's own name. The town campaign targets searches such as 'removals company Sønderborg' without geographic restrictions — because someone searching this way is often somewhere else in the country entirely. The broad campaign, on the other hand, is restricted to the service area, because a search without a town name is only relevant when it comes from someone nearby.
SEO: local landing pages for each town
We have built out local landing pages for each of the areas ViFlytter covers, providing a dedicated page to rank for each town rather than a single homepage that has to cover everything.
Local links from local media
In a geographically defined market, local coverage is one of the strongest assets available. It signals to Google that the business genuinely belongs in the area, and it is read by precisely the people who live there.
The partnership
Regular reporting and ongoing strategic input
Regular reporting and strategic input
Ongoing monitoring of search behaviour and campaigns, combined with room for tasks that arise along the way.
All operations in one place
acend handles day-to-day management. SEO and Google Ads are run and optimised together in one place, so the same town pages work for both channels.
No long-term commitments
The partnership needs to make sense month after month — and it has for over four years.
