Fully booked beginner class — 70% lower cost per enquiry
M2Tango teaches Argentine tango in Copenhagen. The business is built on group classes, with beginner classes as the gateway to everything else: when they fill up, the school grows. acend has managed SEO and Meta for 13 months.

CPM — low impression costs in a small market
13
months of combined SEO and Meta
- Opstartsholdet blev fyldt helt op.
- 70% drop in the cost per enquiry through Meta.
- CPM below DKK 75 — low impression costs in a small market.
- A direct booking flow on the site, so visitors can sign up straight away.
When the booking flow works and the ads don't wear out the audience, the cost per enquiry falls — and the school can fill its classes without burning through its budget.
The problem
Stagnation in a small market
M2Tango's bookings had stagnated. The school was there, the teachers were there, and people were finding the website — but the numbers stood still.
Bookings had stalled
M2Tango's bookings had stagnated. The school was there, the teachers were there, and people were finding the website — but the numbers weren't moving.
Traffic was not the bottleneck
The immediate reaction is to drive more traffic, but when bookings don't follow, the bottleneck is rarely at the top of the funnel. It's in what happens once people arrive.
A small market with a limited audience
Argentinian tango in Copenhagen isn't a market where sheer advertising volume gets results. Run the same ads for too long, and the entire audience will have seen them — then costs rise, no matter how well the ads are made.
The solution
Booking flow, fresh creatives and controlled frequency
The traffic was already there — it just needed somewhere to go. And because more visitors now book, the cost per enquiry from the ads automatically falls too.
Conversion first
We focused our SEO work on conversion optimisation rather than chasing more traffic. The key was to build a direct booking flow so visitors could go from interested to signed up without having to send an email and wait for a reply.
Fewer ads, refreshed more often
On Meta, we started by reviewing what had worked best historically. From there, we advised on content so the new ads built on what had already proven effective. In a small market, it's not the number of ads that determines results — it's whether the same audience gets tired of seeing them.
Low frequency, sustainable performance
The approach is deliberately disciplined: fewer creatives at a time, but regular updates and a low frequency per ad. By keeping frequency down and refreshing the material in time, we kept both costs and fatigue down.
The partnership
Close, ongoing and without lock-in
Monthly reporting
Regular follow-up on trends in both bookings and advertising.
Integrated effort
SEO and Meta are managed together in one place, so the work on the site and in the ads pulls in the same direction.
No lock-in
One month's notice. The partnership has to make sense month after month.
